Botox + Belotero

What Is Botox And Belotero Balance?

Botox is an injectable neurotoxin that interferes with targeted nerve signals to stop certain muscle impulses temporarily. The key component in the product is called botulinum toxin, which is safe for use in small, controlled doses.

Belotero Balance is an injectable filler that contains hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in your skin. It attaches to water, which allows it to smooth your skin’s appearance and make it fuller.
At Wasatch Family and Women’s Wellness, Cameryn strategically plans your injections after discussing your medical or cosmetic goals during a consultation. She carefully places the Botox and Belotero to achieve the desired effects without affecting nearby tissues.
Around 24-72 hours after your Botox injections, the targeted muscles begin to relax, and you can see or feel the full effect of your injections. Depending on the treatment you receive, the results remain for 3-12 months.
The results of Belotero are visible immediately after your injection. Depending on the product used, your results could last from 6-18 months after your initial injection.
If you’re satisfied with the results, you can get the injections again at Wasatch Family and Women’s Wellness once the effects fade away.

What Does Botox Treat?

Botox has a wide range of both cosmetic and medical uses. Its most well-known treatment purposes are cosmetic, but the same injectable is able to treat several medical conditions and symptoms.

During your consultation, you can talk to Cameryn about:

  • Cosmetic Botox
    • Cosmetic Botox treats dynamic wrinkles, which are fine lines that develop over time because of muscle movements you make frequently. Some of the most common are crow’s feet, forehead lines, frown lines, and neck bands.
  • Medical Botox
    • Botox can impact the muscles and nerves that contribute to certain medical conditions and symptoms. Botox injections can treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), chronic migraine, cervical dystonia, and an overactive bladder.

Am I A Good Candidate For Botox Or Belotero?

Prior to your treatment at Wasatch Family and Women’s Wellness, Cameryn speaks with you about your goals and can recommend Botox, Belotero, or both. She goes over your medical history and other personal details to see if these injections are safe for you. If you’re a qualified candidate, she can start planning and give you preparation instructions.

You may be a good candidate for Botox or Belotero injections at Wasatch Family and Women’s Wellness if you:

  • Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Are generally physically healthy
  • Aren’t allergic to any product ingredients
  • Have realistic goals and expectations
  • Understand the treatment process
